Just curious as I found today a quite unique online services website made from blogspot. The website is Filipino Handyman which caters to different home services related jobs from home repair, renovation to set up, installation of this and that and more. At first I thought it was already a running website but as I tried browsing for the different services offered, it is still on conceptualization and probably for testing the business model.

Quite interesting for me though because it didn't occur in my mind that the business model the author is developing back there is something that would not apply much here in the Philippines. As I tried pulling in and using some web resources known to me for marketing and business market study so I decided to take a peek at the possible market of Filipino Handyman. Found out that it is possible to turn this out into a profiteering business model. Right now, the site is still on testing.

Finally, it's what the people wanted, either Rob Stumvoll or Patrick. I'm now really sure why but for all I know from the comments in another blog I used to write, it was all about boastfullness of these two that made people so mad at them including the regular watchers of PBB Double up.

They all cried foul over the acts of these two and they all wished that either of them goes out of the PBB house last eviction night. And it all happened after a while of voting. The people won over the others and it was unanimous that noboby wants Rob Stumvoll to stay inside the house. Goodbye Rob and may you have a good time outside of the PBB house now that you got what you wanted - the eviction trophy!

MANILA, Philippines – (UPDATE) Several gunmen linked to a powerful Philippine politician were arrested Thursday over the election-related massacre of at least 57 people, the country's police chief said.

"We don't have an exact number [of those arrested], but our policemen in the area have arrested several," national police Director General Jesus Verzosa said on dzBB radio.

AMPATUAN, MAGUINDANAO—A few kilometers off the main highway, on a remote hilltop covered with waist-high grass, bodies lay with twisted hands reaching in the air. They had been shot point-blank.

Nearby, cadavers were being laid out under banana leaves on Tuesday as police—their faces covered against the stench—unearthed a mass grave containing 22 victims from Monday’s ambush on an election caravan.

PORAC, PAMPANGA—As though in reaction to criticism over the Palace’s tepid response to the killing in Maguindanao province of at least 57 people, including lawyers and journalists, President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo on Wednesday declared that Thursday would be a day of mourning.

“I am declaring a day of mourning for the victims of the mass murder in Mindanao,” the President said in Filipino during another of her jaunts to her home province of Pampanga, this time to open a P360-million access road connecting Porac to the Subic-Clark Tarlac Expressway (SCTEx). MANILA, Philippines—The United Nations on Wednesday deplored the massacre of at least 57 people, including journalists, in Maguindanao province and called for the perpetrators to be brought to justice.

In a statement issued by his spokesperson at the UN headquarters in New York and posted on the UN website, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon condemned the “heinous crime.”

Senate to probe Maguindanao massacre

MANILA, Philippines—Lawmakers in the two chambers of Congress have filed resolutions calling for an inquiry into the mass murder believed perpetrated by an ally of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo in Maguindanao province.

In filing Senate Resolution No. 1491 Wednesday, Senators Benigno Aquino III and Manuel Roxas II sought an investigation and asked the chamber to condemn “in the strongest possible terms the brutal and inhuman election-related massacre and carnage of innocent civilians.”

At the beginning of the show Russell no longer had an idol because he played it at tribal during Episode 8.

When Natalie was out and about she killed a rat for the tribe to have dinner! They cooked it up and they said it wasn’t bad… “Tastes like chicken!”

For the reward challenge, they divided into two teams of five and had to race to collect poles threaded with white and black coconuts.
