Typhoon Ondoy has ravaged last Saturday all over the Philippines. This is due to the strong rainfall that the typhoon has left falling under the skies for 2 days. Not as strong but continuously falling are strong rains brought by the monsoon of Typhoon Ondoy.
Here in Caloocan where me and my family lives, the flood water rose up to waist high. In surrounding provinces, the flood in some areas rose up to 10 feet while in other areas, it was up to house roof high. Typhoon Ondoy killed more than 40 as of the writing of this post. Countless bodies were still missing and not found while hundreds more were injured.
Most of the deaths due to the typhoon was caused by landslide and heavy water floods rising. This is the first time the the whole world saw what Ondoy has ravaging even cars on the streets all over the streets of Metro Manila.
