Although I live in the Philippines, I have many friends in the United States and they have families staying there for good because they have citizenship advantage. They either live there to work or to raise their own family because living in the U.S.A. is easy back then. I was able to talk to a former classmate and we had a chat in Facebook and I found out that most if not all of them, mostly those who are of old age are looking for life insurance which is part of securing their future.
A high school friend got a Los Angeles life insurance for her mom and dad just in time before her parents retired from their job in the airport and her family moved to Washington D.C. She said these days, it has become part of security for people who are looking for a perfect solution to future problems with finance and health as well as securing a good place to stay for retirement. I say if this is the same thinking people in the Philippines had, insurance companies could have helped literally millions who sought for such service.
Life insurance in the Philippines is not quite as good as the service rendered from that in Los Angeles or any other cities in the United States. My former classmate and friend agreed with me. Afterwards, we also talked more about life and job back there in the United States and I also opened up on my current work here in the Philippines as a data encoder. It's good to see and talk to old friends even if it is only in Facebook. At least we get to update one another as needed. This is for you Lyn and thank you for looking for my name and finding me in Facebook.
