She hails from Bacolod City and was formerly crowned Binibining Pilipinas-World in the 43rd Bb. Pilipinas beauty pageant in the Philippines wherein the prestigious event was held at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City last March 3, 2007.

Maggie represented the Philippines in the 57th Miss World beauty pageant back in December 1, 2007. She also used to be an MTV VJ in popular music video television program, MTV.
