The 2B OWWA OFW loan has been released by the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) as announced in press release online as well as in Manila Daily Bulletin News. It is said that the P2-billion reintegration program for both active and former OWWA members is now available if they wish to start or expand their small and medium business projects. This will be of big help to OFWs looking to earn more in the country using funds that they have actually worked on for decades now as OWWA OFW funds. In a report in Manila Bulletin online news paper mb.com, it reads below as follows.

"(OWWA Administrator Carmelita Dimzon made the announcement to encourage OFWs to attend daily briefings about the loan program at OWWA and its regional offices.
“By running their own enterprises, OFWs and their families would be able to control their own financial destinies. Projects could be about supplying LPG gas to neighborhood, building lodging rooms for rent, transporting passengers, expanding a gym, or opening a dental clinic or an Internet cafĂ©,” Dimzon said.
Dimzon said that the hourly briefings start at 9 a.m. from Monday to Friday at the OWWA-NCR office at the OWWA Center in Pasay.)"
