Sonsona Wins WBO Bamtamweight Becomes Youngest Champ at 19

In the fight Sonsona vs Lopez, the younger fighter from the Philippines prevailed and won over the veteran champ. It was a unanimous win over Lopez so the undefeated Filipino moves his record to a 14 - 0 - 12.

Marvelous Marvin Sonsona is said to be the next big champion from the Philippines with his show of strength and stamina but I don't believe he will be, less he gets himself a good trainer like Freddie Roach.

I do believe however that he can still improve on his defense which is what I see in him to be weak. He has the strength and there is no doubt about that but the thing is that the boy's manager might be a little too greedy to give him fight after fight which we all know is not an ideal thing to do for such a kid whom we all see great future. I hope this isn't what it's going to be or else we might loose hope of having another great champ like Manny Pacquiao.

Congratulations to Marvin Sonsona and I do hope he trains more to strengthen his stomach like Pacquiao did and his stamina buildup plus that he carefully choose his upcoming fights with his current manager.
